Acrylic Painted Footstools
I made these for Connor and Sydney's first birthday in 2004. I bought the unfinished footstools from Michaels. Covered them with 2 or 3 layers of the base coat (yellow and green) allowing each coat to dry before applying next coat. Using stencils, I penciled in the designs then painted them with acrylic paint. For their names, I printed them out then used transfer paper to trace the letters onto the wood, then painted them in. It took me about 3 days to finish both of them.
