Rubber Stamping |
I started rubber stamping in 1989 while going to college. I remember the cute little store in Claremont, Stamp Your Heart Out, that catapulted me into this obsession and passion. When we moved to the Bay Area in 1993, I started working in the rubber stamp industry, working retail at Stampateria in the Hillsdale Mall for 2 Christmas seasons in a row. Between the holiday seasons, I started my own rubber stamp company, which lasted 2 years. After that 2nd Christmas, I met Leigh Edwards and through her, Jeri Ng. I worked at Jeri's store, Only the Best for a year and a half, then started working with Leigh Edwards when she started manufacturing her own line of rubber stamps in 1995. I worked with Leigh till October 2003. Suffice it to say, I've invested a lot into this hobby and have created hundreds, possibly thousands of cards. Happily, I'm still involved in the craft and attend 2 fabulous stamp clubs each month. |
